Celebrating Cinco de Mayo

Call for Entry --  “¿Dónde está el número 5?”Picture_1-1.png

Work must be representational of the theme.  What can you do with the concept five? Will it be five things, something ending in five, the meaning of five, something that happened to you on the 5th? The sky’s the limit.  So, create, create, create. Prizes, will be given for the most creative.  Prizes will be determined by customer vote.

Third prize: Five, $5.00 footlong subs from Subway

Second prize: Cheap appetizers with 5 of your favorite friends at El Noa Noa Value $35.00

First Prize: New crispy Ulysses S. Grant $50

All mediums are welcome. Work needs to be family friendly.  Contemporary as well as traditional work is welcome. All pricing should end in 5’s. Drop off is Sunday, May 2nd from noon-4 PM. CHAC reserves the right to refuse any artwork deemed inappropriate for the exhibit.

Special CHAC Fundraiser Entry Free: $15 for two pieces, negotiable entry fee for small pieces. Five pieces for $25 (30” x 40” maximum size).  25% of sales goes to CHAC.

Artist Reception Friday May 21, 2010. Donations of food & drink welcome!  Don’t miss this opportunity to exhibit. Santa Fe Dr. is hoppin’during the month of Cinco de Mayo. Many are sure to see your work!  Students Welcome!
