El Corazon De La Mujer aRT sHOW
June 6th - June 29th 2008
A group of six women artists presenting an exceptional art show called,
“El Corazon De La Mujer” (The heart of a woman). This show encompasses
the diversity among women today. Artists vary in experience which they
bring to this unique show, the full time professional artist to the
beginning crafter. These women share their hearts; some are disabled,
retired, cancer survivors, mothers, and women who are active in the
community. Art is the instrument that they use to reach out creatively
and present their work in positive way.
Featuring Artists: Debra Huerta, Verlinda Quinones Rozales, Rebecca Rozales, Rebecca Salinas, Marie Valencia, Suzanna Vega.

Recalling the 65th Anniversary of the Zoot Suit Riots.
A juried art exhibit curated by Carlos Fresquez and Christine Blackburn.

Combining the natural beauty of stone and the expressive texture of
deep relief sand carving give's Michael’s artwork the timeless beauty
that is found in artifacts and one-of-a-kind art tiles. Michael’s
latest creations were inspired by a recent trip to the Yucatan
Peninsula of Mexico were he visited the ruins at Chitzen Itza.
